About MRAW
The Maxiscooter Rider's Association of Washington was formed  to promote "scooter-touring" throughout the picturesque Pacific Northwest.

The group was formed in the summer/fall of 2001 simply because there were no other riding groups that catered to "
non-European" scooters.

While this club focuses on the larger Japanese "
Maxi-Scooters" from Honda & Yamaha ... we are open to all makes & models.

There are no dues ... we have a monthly meeting & then ride once per month.

Our rides usualy cover distances on the average of 200 miles. We do require, however,  that you're machine be capable of sustained speeds in the 55-60 mph range to go on the rides.

Maxiscooter Rider's Association of Washington
That's our co-founders to the right ... Steve & Mike.
Steve started with a Honda Express ... Mike with a Yamaha Towny. They have been riding scooters of all shapes & sizes together since the early 80's.

Back when Honda was using the likes of Adam Ant, Grace Jones, Jim McMahon & Lou Reed to promote their line of Spree's, Aero's, Elite's & Helix's.
